New Hostel for the Girls

Since the school was started in 1999, it has only been able to admit boys due to lack of hostel facilities. We have had a lot of interest expressed by the public to allow girls. This will soon be a story of the past as a two storied Bhutanese styled building for the girl’s hostel is now completed.

The construction started in April 2008 and now that it is being completed will be able to admit first batch of girls students from 2009 academic session!

The Himalayan Youth Foundation (HYF), is supporting the construction of the girls’ hostel. The new traditional designed building will accommodate 50 girls, provide 3 additional classrooms and a living quarter for the matron.

From 2009 academic sessions, the school will be able to admit 15 girls students for the first time.
