Training on contemporary art

14 students from CTAS took part in the training on contemporary art at VAST (Modern Art Studio) in Thimphu. The training is being organized by the Department of Information and Media in collaboration with VAST studio in Thimphu from 7th – 25th November, 2011.

The program highlighted the teaching of basic contemporary arts, 2 to 3 dimensional arts techniques and different art using creativity and methods etc. This is the first time students of CTAS worked with contemporary art, applying their creativity and it was a very good learning experience for the students. The 14 participants will exhibit and share their new skills and experience with the rest of students at CTAS.
