Construction of Guru Nangsay Statue Completed!!!

The construction of the 17ft statue of Guru Rimpoche, popularly known as the second Buddha is now completed. The consecration ceremony for this statue of Guru Rinpoche will be held sometime in June/July coinciding with an auspicious day of the Bhutanese calender. This big statue of Guru Rinpoche was built for the benefit of all the sentient beings. It is being dedicated to overcome evil intentions and for the future benefit of the school and the wellbeing of the students as well as the people of Kabesa village. 

This project was initiated by Dasho Choki Dorji and it was funded by the Choki family.
