CTAS will participate in the "Bhutan Sacred Art from the Himalaya" exhibition at Rietberg Museum, Zurich, Switzerland from 24th September till 3rd October, 2010
Choki Traditional Art School(CTAS) will be participating in “Bhutan Sacred Art from the Himalaya”, held at the Rietberg Museum, Zurich, Switzerland from 4th July till the 17th October 2010. The exhibition is being organized by the Honolulu Academy of Arts and the Department of Culture, Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs of the Royal Government of Bhutan. The exhibition will showcase the Buddhist culture and tradition and displays Bhutan‘s most beautiful artworks, most of them never before seen outside Bhutan.

Three students, Sangay Dorji(Painter), Jampel Yeshi(Wood Carver), Wangmo(Embroidery) and Mrs. Sonam Choki(Principal) of Choki Traditional Art School will also be participating in this exhibition held at Rietberg Museum, Zurich from 24th September till 3rd October, 2010 to live demonstrate the Traditional skills in painting, wood carving and embroidery. CTAS’s participation to the exhibition has been made possible with the generous support from the Fontana Foundation based in Switzerland.
