An inter-house cultural competition was held on 9th October among the four houses Tag, Singay, Chung and Druk of the school. The show consisted of all the three categories: Zhungdra (a traditional ballad), Boedra (an emerging form of dance and singing before the advent of Rigsar) and Rigsar (popular contemporary songs and dances). Druk house emerged as the ultimate winner followed by Chung, Tag and Singay house. This competition is being held with a view to preserve Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage and enhance the overall development of the students dancing and singing skills, in addition to their art and crafts courses.
