ACHIEVEMENTS

Khandu is from Wangdiphodrang (central Bhutan). He joined our school when he was 13 years old.  His mother died of cervical cancer when he was studying in class three. He was brought up by his father. He has two brothers and a sister from his step-mother. After his mother died he couldn’t continue his studies and he was helping his father in the field and was looking after cattle. The following picture shows the level of skills that he had reached when joining CTAS.

Khandu will be graduating this December from our school completing his 7th year program in painting. He feels very proud of what he is able to do now.
